Burundi is a small landlocked country in Central Africa. Most of the coffee is grown in the mountains in the north of the country bordering Rwanda. With ideal growing conditions and large plantations of the Arabica variety - Bourbon, Burundian coffee has an excellent reputation. This lot was produced at the state processing station (mill) Bwayi in the Kayanza region of northern Burundi at an altitude of 5800 feet or 1760 meters.
