Coffee from Israel Degfa's private farm in Anasor. Israel is widely known in the specialty industry due to his experiments with processing and the high quality of classical treatments. It owns 26 stations in the south and southwest of Ethiopia.
Israel's processing stations are united not only by their convenient location (proximity to cities, heights), but also by the fact that Israel invests funds and resources in their development, improving the quality of coffee produced.
A large team works at the processing stations, which sorts coffee by quality, and also selects defects.
Flotators are also installed at the stations (allowing you to separate more ripe coffee berries from less ripe ones).
Israel Degfa has improved the traceability of the coffee he produces (for export). All the coffee produced is divided by the days and areas of harvest, as well as by the method of coffee processing.
Coffee is stored in a warehouse located at the processing station. Before being sent to Addis, the coffee sample is tested at the local ECX laboratory, then it is awarded a grade (Q 1, etc.).
Israel has also invested in the modernization of the dry processing/pre-export preparation station (Dry mill) in Addis, where a modern warehouse, colorsorts, and laboratory are now installed.
