The Expocasser farmer Cooperative was founded in September 1993, thanks to the desire of the producers of the region to organize a common warehouse for storing coffee. The first warehouse was built to store 180,000 bags. To date, the turnover of warehouses with a fully automated sorting station reaches about 1,000,000 bags per year.
Today, Expocasser is the largest cooperative in the Cerrado Mineiro region and the second largest in the country. It belongs to the most modern coffee farms in Brazil. It consists of more than 500 farms, more than 4,500 producers who collect 5 million bags per year on an area of 200,000 hectares. Moreover, Expocasser is the world's first coffee cooperative with a certified origin (Designation of Origin (D.O.), which allows you to trace the entire history from the sprout to the cup.
