A fresh crop of coffee from the Nunes family, selected by us personally during a trip to their farm.

We met Gabriel during our trip to the farms of Brazil in 2023, were very warmly received at his farm and got acquainted with two dozen experiments on coffee processing and fermentation. We were glad to bring one of these, the best in its price category, to Russia.
Taste profile: bright tropical coffee with notes of stone and tropical fruits, flowers and milk chocolate.
The story dates back to Osmar Pereira Nunes, who kept a herd of cattle and did not yet suspect that the most valuable product of this region has yet to be grown. On November 24, 1984, his son, Osmar Junior, better known as Juninho, planted the first 10 hectares of coffee in the soil of Cerrado Mineiro. Although he started with his father's cattle, his passion for agriculture was stronger, further enhanced by the influence of immigrants who came to invest in coffee in the lands of the state of Minas Gerais. The following year, the coffee planting on the Freitas farm increased by 7 hectares. Having worked with coffee for more than 40 years, Juninho says that there is no greater satisfaction for a producer than coming to the farm and feeling the aroma of flowering coffee.
The love of coffee naturally passed to his son Gabriel, an agronomist who is one of the most successful young farmers in Brazil. Gabriel is proof that Brazil is not just a supplier of reliable commerce, but a full–fledged producer of specialty coffee. It is the younger generation of farmers, such as Gabriel, who travel around the world to understand the consumer market of specialty coffee and, returning, experiment with different varieties, processing methods, fermentations and drying of grain. Since the family began its history in coffee, and to the present, an unimaginable revolution has taken place in the countryside. Modern machines have improved the processes of planting, processing, harvesting and post-harvest processing, which has led to increased maneuverability and productivity. Mechanization has brought unique benefits to harvesting, which can be enjoyed by drinking a cup of coffee.

The coffee harvested on the farms of the Nunes family is rightfully considered one of the best in the world. They are laureates of national and international awards, and this is recognition of daily work, dedication and the use of innovative processes and advanced technologies. Their coffee farms are located in an ideal region for growing coffee, with ideal altitude and low rainfall during the harvest season.
In the past, Brazilian coffee was produced only for the sake of sales volume, today this is no longer enough, so it is necessary to coordinate the social, environmental and financial aspects of the farm in order for the business to flourish. Currently, planting new trees is about ensuring grain quality, proper management and use of resources, proper interaction with the environment and understanding of the consumer market, which is what an ordinary coffee lover wants to get in the end.
In 2018, the family won the most prestigious championship among coffee producers in the world - the Cup of Excellence in Brazil. Their yellow bourbon, pulped, received 92.33 points and was sold for $19,000 per kilogram, which is a record in the national championship. The lot was bought and divided among several auction participants: Maruyama Coffee and Sarutahiko Coffee (Japan), Times Club Coffee, Coffee Libre (South Korea); Campos Coffee and Proud Mary (Australia). The Australian roaster Proud Mary visited Gabriel in the summer of 2018 to produce a joint author's coffee. Gabriel invested the award for his extraordinary coffee in the construction of a laboratory and lecture hall, a showroom, a cafe and roasting right on the farm.

We visited Gabriel's farm in the autumn of 2023, selected one of the lots of fresh harvest and brought it to Russia. We left a little message on the wall among others and had a great time over a barbecue and drinks. We will tell you in more detail in our film about a trip to the coffee farms of Brazil.
A characteristic feature of the region is the ideal definition of climatic seasons with hot, humid summers and mild, dry winters. Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer. The share of Brazilian coffee in the international market is one third of the global production volume. Arabica is mainly grown in the regions of Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo, Bahia, Matas de Minas, Prana. The equatorial climate prevails in the north of the country, tropical in the central part, and temperate in the south. The main varieties of Arabica for Brazil are bourbon, tipica, mundo novo, katuay, maragojip. The presence of well-defined seasons - hot, humid summers and pleasant dry winters - is a striking characteristic of the region. Coffee plantations are grown at an altitude of 800 to 1300 meters above sea level, resulting in high-quality coffee with a unique personality.

Coffee in drip bags is coffee that is always with you. It can be brewed in any conditions without tools and accessories at home, in the office and on a trip.
Ease of brewing, stability, repeatability of the result, convenience of storage - that's what makes drip bags an incredibly cool product. We've made it even better.: we do not skimp on raw materials (green coffee), we pack grain as fresh as possible roasted in a modified gas environment, we do not spare the amount of coffee per cup and carefully select the recipe and profile for each variety. Thanks to nitrogen, coffee retains its bouquet unchanged for up to 6 months, but it does not lose its basic qualities until 18 months. The most complete history of the drip pack you can read about coffee in our magazine.
Each bag contains 12 grams of coffee, which allows you to prepare 190-210 grams of the drink. Just put it on a high cup and pour in 92-96 °C water in a thin stream 3 times 70 grams until the water flows completely. You can find more detailed instructions in our article.
This is the best way to share the love of coffee with a friend and tell the whole family about good coffee. Tested on yourself.
