Philosophy and taste profile

We met Danilo and his sons during our trip to the farms of Brazil in 2023, and realized that we like exactly the same coffee. A multiple participant in the Brewers Cup national championships works on the farm, and we have brewed more than one excellent funnel at the top of their famous waterfall.

Taste profile: bright fruit coffee of balanced anaerobic processing with a bouquet of nougat, tropical fruits and dark berries.

The Barbossa family

This is a family that works together. Danilo and his sons, Marcelo and Sergio, represent the fourth and fifth generations of a family that has been growing coffee since 1930. 

In the beginning, coffee was intended only for family consumption, but Jairu Barbosa, Danilo's father, believed in coffee and made it a family business. More than just a business, Jairu dreamed that people could get the same experience and sensations that he himself experienced while sitting at a table and enjoying a quality drink made with love. The whole family believes that coffee carries more energy than just its production, for them the commitment and dedication in every batch produced is reflected in every cup of coffee. 

Coffee is made with special care, in a family that also shows respect to its employees, some of whom have been working for more than 20 years. Decades of study, ups and downs, trials and dedication are behind us. Moving forward with the development and traditions, today the family is working hard on the best coffee lots.

The Barbosa family believes that the value of coffee for people goes far beyond the taste for which it is valued, so their commitment and dedication to work are reflected in every cup. Here, modern technology and family traditions go hand in hand, which allows you to produce the best lots. For example, in 2021, the farm received the first place of the Cup Of Excellence in Brazil.

About coffee in drip bags

Coffee in drip bags is coffee that is always with you. It can be brewed in any conditions without tools and accessories at home, in the office and on a trip.

Ease of brewing, stability, repeatability of the result, convenience of storage - that's what makes drip bags an incredibly cool product. We've made it even better.: we do not skimp on raw materials (green coffee), we pack grain as fresh as possible roasted in a modified gas environment, we do not spare the amount of coffee per cup and carefully select the recipe and profile for each variety. Each bag contains 12 grams of coffee, which allows you to prepare 190-210 grams of the drink. Just put it on a high cup and pour in 92-96 °C water in a thin stream 3 times 70 grams until the water flows completely. You can find more detailed instructions in our article.
