Diego is an ordinary Colombian farmer. His parents grow coffee, and together they have perfected their methods, from traditional to special. Diego and his family started producing high-quality coffee in 2013. After graduating from high school, he decided to specialize in coffee because he realized the need to find a field of activity that would guarantee peace of mind for his family. Diego now works as a producer, taster and barista in the town square, where he sells some of his coffee. Making good coffee is the only goal of his life. The El Manzano neighborhood, located in Seville's Valle del Cauca, is home to Finca Manzanares, Sneijder's home and operations center. This space has become a true laboratory of coffee innovation, where diversity and quality are the norm. Sneider allocated special plots for growing exotic coffees, demonstrating his interest in exploring new horizons in the world of coffee, but at the same time retained plots with classic varieties such as Castillo and Columbia. Now Sneider and other farmers from the region are striving to improve the quality of their coffee through experimental treatments and thereby raise their prestige.
Colombia is the world's third largest producer of coffee and the second largest producer of Arabica grown on the slopes of the Andes.
