The main regions of coffee production in Peru are Cajamarca, Junin, Puno, Cuzco, Pasco. The climatic conditions are quite varied. An arid climate prevails in the north-west of the country, equatorial in the east, temperate on the coast, cool in the mountains, and tropical in the forests. Coffee grows between 900 and 2050 meters above sea level. Compañía Internacional del Café S.A.C. (Coinca) is the largest exporter in the country with two dry mill processing stations and an agent network responsible for purchasing coffee from farmers. A modern, well-equipped production facility allows the company to prepare for export grain of various grades from the main coffee-producing regions.
