Coffee aged in a bourbon barrel in collaboration with brewers Jaws Brewery
Bourbon was aged in a barrel for two years. One and a half years - beer Russian Imperial Stout. Six months from berries in Guatemala, grown by small producers in the vicinity of Lake Ayarza, to green grain in our production in the heart of Moscow. This coffee has absorbed history.

Aging coffee in barrels, or Barrel-Aged Coffee is a method of introducing a bouquet into green coffee, which in turn has been absorbed by an oak barrel for many years of storing bourbon, wine or beer in it. Adopted from the distillery industry, this method allows you to develop the taste of coffee at the green grain stage.
Our first coffee in the Eastbrew Spirits line - Guatemala x Russian Imperial Stout, was aged in a bourbon barrel, in which, before entering our production, Jaws Brewery Russian Imperial Stout [Bourbon] beer was aged for a year and a half. The incredible bouquet of the barrel enriched the pure creamy bouquet of coffee from Guatemala with washed processing, adding alcoholic notes, almonds and dried fruits to it.
Having started its history in 2008 with a small pub located in the building of the former laundry of the atomic monotown Zarechny, Jaws covers the whole country with its legendary varieties and embassy bars with huge waves of inexhaustible enthusiasm.
Anticipating the first volleys of the craft revolution in Russia, by the end of 2013 they built a new modern brewery, which allowed us to make beer the way they imagine it. It was here that classic year-round varieties, experiments with aging in barrels and even freezing to extreme strength could find their embodiment.
Brewing for us has always been something more than raw materials and technologies. An important part of the brewery's work is joint varieties with family breweries from all over the world, during which we not only create new tastes, but also adopt the philosophy and approaches of family productions.
Being fans of Flemish red ales, Jaws Brewery has put on stream the aging of beer in barrels of bourbon, rum and wine. The famous variety I'm looking for a Man, as well as new bright varieties such as Bonom - their contribution to the popularization of this bright, complex and distinctive style.
