The main regions of coffee production in Peru are Cajamarca, Junin, Puno, Cusco, Pasco. Climatic conditions are quite diverse. Cajamarca is an important cultural and commercial center of the Northern Andes. It is located in the northern highlands of Peru at an altitude of approximately 2,750 m above sea level in the valley of the Mashcon River. The main varieties of Arabica for Peru: bourbon, tipica, caturra, pache, katimor. The harvest season for washed coffee lasts from April to September.
